About 75001.fr:
75001.fr is a website edited
by Phone Book of the World
in honor of the first Arrondissement of Paris.
The domain was registered in 11 may 2004
from Cremerie de Paris,
at the time an avant-garde Internet Cafe
the moment it became possible to register
imaginary french dot .fr domains.

The first Arrondissement of Paris
was created 16 june 1859
during the Second Empire / reign of Emperor Napoléon III.
With the help of Empress Eugénie,
the Baron Hausmann, architects like Victor Baltard
and many other talented people the area
got it's look that contributed
to make it so beautiful.

The Postal Code 75001 became active in 1965.

75001 is only 182,5 ha large
with a population of 15.900 people
(Paris is 10.540 ha large, population 2.113.000 people)
but it is the home of the Mona Lisa,
the Louvre, the Hotel Ritz, Chanel, Samaritaine,
La Maison Rouge, Le Bistro des Halles
the legendary restaurant Gladines
and many beautiful cafés.
75001 also the home of ultra beautiful Pop Up Stores
hosted at Cremerie de Paris.

Sadly the Pavillons Baltard were distroyed 1971
but the magic of the past continues to be there.

Coco Chanel (1883 - 1971)
left this world the same year
the Pavillons were destroyed,
half a century ago,
but her magic is still there
with her shops on rue Cambon,
elegant Ladys walking around with her handbags
and also thanks to a little jewel she left to a friend.
The jewel made it possible to reopen Cremerie de Paris ...
